Semaphore codes

 Learning Objectives:  

To be familiar with semaphore code 


Success Criteria:

I can send and receive messages in semaphore

I can create codes

All children should be able to:

Ch complete self assessment of previous computing module

1 - Watch the “sencolewis –semaphore” video

2 – Discuss the success criteria and learning objectives

3 - Complete the word document worksheet on the "j" drive server 

 

Most Children should be able to:

Complete 1 - 3
4 – Demonstrate how to use semaphore code to send messages.

5 – Children decode semaphore code messages using Microsoft word doc.

6 – Ch use flags images to pass on messages.


Some Children should be able to: (Greater Depth activities)

7 - Write semaphore code of your own - your name!

8 – Send code of your own using flag images
